Job Title: Leasing Consultant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Leasing Consultant. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting potential tenants with finding their new home at our property. You will work closely with the property management team to ensure all leasing processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome potential tenants, providing them with a positive and professional first impression of the property
• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants
• Explain the leasing process, rental rates, and any other property information to potential tenants
• Assist potential tenants with completing rental applications and collecting necessary documents
• Conduct background and credit checks on potential tenants to ensure they meet our rental criteria
• Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding the property and available units
• Follow up with potential tenants to answer any additional questions and encourage them to lease at our property
• Collaborate with the property management team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract potential tenants
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all potential and current tenants
• Assist with move-in and move-out processes, including conducting move-in inspections and coordinating with maintenance for any necessary repairs
• Ensure all leasing processes comply with fair housing laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred
• Prior experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the real estate industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and handle difficult situations with professionalism
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
