As a Textile Designer, you will be responsible for creating original and innovative designs for a range of textile products, from clothing to home furnishings. Key Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze current trends in the textile industry to inform design decisions and stay ahead of market demands.
• Develop and present design concepts for various textile products, including clothing, home furnishings, and accessories.
• Create detailed technical sketches and specifications for production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, and marketing, to ensure designs meet product requirements and brand standards.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create digital renderings of designs.
• Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for each design.
• Oversee the production process to ensure designs are accurately translated from concept to final product.
• Continuously review and revise designs based on feedback and market trends.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to gain inspiration and stay informed on the latest trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in textile design, preferably in a fast-paced retail or fashion environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of original and innovative designs.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of different fabric types, printing techniques, and color theory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and project requirements.
