Job Title: Instructional Coach

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructional Coach to join our team. As an Instructional Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting and developing our educators to ensure effective and impactful instruction in our schools. You will work collaboratively with teachers, school leaders, and district staff to improve teaching practices, student learning, and overall school performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for supporting and developing educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with teachers to identify instructional needs and develop individualized coaching plans to improve teaching practices and student outcomes
• Observe and provide feedback to teachers on their instructional practices, including lesson planning, delivery, and assessment
• Collaborate with school leaders to align coaching strategies and goals with school improvement plans
• Facilitate professional development sessions and workshops for teachers on various instructional topics
• Analyze student data and provide guidance on how to use data to inform instructional decisions and improve student learning
• Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in education to inform coaching strategies and approaches
• Build relationships and trust with teachers to create a safe and supportive environment for professional growth
• Model effective instructional practices in classrooms and provide demonstration lessons as needed
• Communicate regularly with teachers, school leaders, and district staff on coaching progress and areas for improvement
• Participate in coaching meetings and professional development opportunities to continuously improve coaching skills and strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience
• Previous experience as an instructional coach or mentor teacher preferred
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies and best practices in teaching and learning
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively with teachers from diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Knowledge of data analysis and its use in informing instructional decisions
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Willingness to travel between schools and attend occasional evening or weekend events
