Job Description: As a Wood Product Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting wood products to ensure they meet our company's quality standards. You will work closely with our production team to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders, as well as maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret production orders to determine the materials and tools needed for assembly
• Measure and cut wood according to specifications, using various hand and power tools
• Assemble wood products, such as furniture, cabinets, and shelving, using screws, nails, and other fasteners
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments or repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues
• Keep accurate records of materials used and products produced
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
• Continuously look for ways to improve production processes and efficiency

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in wood product assembly or carpentry
• Strong knowledge of wood materials, tools, and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production orders
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools accurately
