Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and interactive science curriculum for students from kindergarten to high school.
Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to align curriculum with state and national standards.
Create and maintain a science resource library for teachers, including lesson plans, activities, and other materials.
Organize and facilitate science workshops and professional development opportunities for teachers.
Coordinate and oversee science fairs and other science-related events for students.
Work with community partners to provide hands-on learning opportunities and field trips for students.
Develop and maintain relationships with local colleges and universities to provide opportunities for students to engage in real-world science projects.
Conduct teacher and student evaluations to assess the effectiveness of science education programs.
Manage the budget for science education programs and seek out potential funding sources.
Stay up-to-date with current scientific research and advancements to incorporate into curriculum and programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science Education, Science, or a related field.
Previous experience in curriculum development and teaching in a formal or informal education setting.
Strong knowledge of current science education trends and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Passion for promoting science education and inspiring students to pursue careers in STEM fields.
