Position: Fruit Production Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Fruit Production Manager to oversee and manage our fruit production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fruit production and management, as well as excellent organizational and leadership skills. As the Fruit Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality fruits while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and ensure timely delivery of fruits to market.
• Manage all aspects of fruit production including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest handling.
• Monitor and maintain production schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee the maintenance of all production equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Hire, train, supervise, and motivate production staff to ensure a high level of productivity and quality.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other industry professionals to ensure the timely delivery of resources and materials.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to determine production needs and adjust production plans accordingly.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in production techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in fruit production, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Proven experience in managing a team and achieving production targets.
• Strong knowledge of fruit production techniques, equipment, and industry best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using production software and tools.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
