Job Title: Infrastructure Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining various infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, and storage. The Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our company's infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain company's infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, and storage
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure system stability and high availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and enhancements
• Conduct regular system audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvements and cost savings
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and policies
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT teams
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support when needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure management, preferably in a large enterprise environment
• Strong knowledge of server and network infrastructure, including virtualization, cloud computing, and storage technologies
• Experience with network security and monitoring tools
• Proven experience in implementing disaster recovery plans and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g. MCSE, CCNA, AWS) are a plus
