Job Title: Donor Relations Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Donor Relations Specialist to join our team. As a Donor Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with our donors. You will be responsible for engaging donors, cultivating long-term relationships, and ensuring donor satisfaction. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with our donors to ensure continued support and investment in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement donor engagement strategies to build and maintain relationships with donors.
• Cultivate relationships with donors through personalized communications, meetings, events, and other touchpoints.
• Act as a primary point of contact for donors, responding to inquiries, providing updates, and addressing any concerns or issues.
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify and pursue new donor opportunities.
• Conduct research on potential donors and develop personalized cultivation plans.
• Organize and coordinate donor events, including donor appreciation events, fundraising events, and other special events.
• Develop and maintain a donor recognition program to acknowledge and thank donors for their contributions.
• Monitor and track donor interactions and provide regular reports on donor engagement and satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of donor information in the organization's database.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop donor communications and materials.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in donor relations to continuously improve our donor engagement strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successful donor engagement and relationship building.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and donor management software.
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
