Job Title: Printing Press Operator

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team. As a Printing Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate printing presses, including adjusting ink levels, paper feeds, and other settings according to job specifications
• Load and unload paper, ink, and plates onto the press
• Monitor printing process and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and consistency
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the printing process
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment
• Inspect printed materials for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed
• Keep accurate records of production and materials used
• Work closely with the production team to ensure timely completion of jobs
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating printing presses
• Knowledge of different types of printing presses and their capabilities
• Familiarity with printing materials and processes
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
