Position Title: Environmental Compliance Officer

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Environmental Compliance Officer to join our team. As an Environmental Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring our company's adherence to all environmental laws, regulations, and policies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our company's commitment to sustainability and minimizing our environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess our company's compliance with environmental regulations and policies.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans to address any identified non-compliance issues.
• Stay up-to-date on all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and policies and ensure our company's compliance with them.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
• Provide training and support to all employees on environmental compliance measures.
• Monitor and report on our company's environmental performance, including waste management, energy consumption, and emissions.
• Collaborate with our sustainability team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans in case of environmental incidents.
• Manage and maintain all environmental permits and licenses required for our company's operations.
• Prepare and submit required environmental reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments for new projects or developments.
• Investigate and respond to any environmental complaints or incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably in a corporate setting.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Experience with conducting audits and inspections is preferred.
