Job Title: Security Investigator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Investigator to join our team. As a Security Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting investigations into potential security breaches, threats, and incidents within our organization. Your main objective will be to ensure the safety and security of our company, employees, and assets by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and confidential investigations into security incidents, breaches, and threats, to determine the root cause and identify any potential risks.
• Utilize a variety of investigative techniques, including but not limited to surveillance, interviews, and data analysis, to gather evidence and information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, and HR, to gather information and support investigations.
• Analyze and interpret data, reports, and other relevant information to identify patterns and trends that may indicate potential security risks.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on investigative findings, to be presented to senior management.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to prevent and mitigate potential security threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify any vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the security posture of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security investigations, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Extensive knowledge of investigative techniques and procedures.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to security investigations.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) are preferred.
