Job Title: Professor of Education

Location: University of Sichuan

Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Professor of Education. As a Professor, you will play a critical role in shaping the minds of our future educators and leaders in the field of education. You will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students, conduct research, and contribute to the academic community through publications and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in education at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Develop and deliver curriculum that is engaging, innovative, and aligned with current educational practices and theories
• Mentor and advise students, providing them with academic and career guidance
• Contribute to the development of new educational programs and initiatives
• Conduct research in the field of education and publish findings in academic journals and other publications
• Participate in academic conferences and present research findings
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals in the field to enhance the quality of education and advance the field of education
• Serve on departmental and university committees
• Maintain office hours for student consultations and academic support
• Stay current with developments in the field of education and incorporate new knowledge into teaching and research

Qualifications:

• A doctoral degree in education or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching and/or research in the field of education
• A strong record of scholarly publications and presentations
• A passion for teaching and mentoring students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
• Experience with curriculum development and program assessment is preferred
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current in the field of education
