Curriculum Development Specialist

Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and evaluate curriculum for various educational programs in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers and other stakeholders to design and develop innovative and engaging curriculum materials
• Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and industry trends in curriculum design and development
• Ensure curriculum content is current, relevant and meets educational standards and requirements
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum through ongoing assessment and feedback from learners and instructors
• Identify areas for improvement and make necessary revisions and updates to curriculum as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance curriculum offerings and resources
• Provide guidance and support to instructors on curriculum delivery and implementation
• Conduct trainings and workshops to facilitate the adoption of new curriculum and instructional strategies
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote curriculum offerings and increase program enrollment
• Stay updated on latest technologies and educational tools to enhance curriculum design and delivery
• Manage and maintain curriculum development budget and resources
• Ensure compliance with copyright laws and intellectual property rights in all curriculum materials
• Participate in educational conferences and workshops to stay informed on industry developments and share best practices
• Contribute to the development and implementation of organization-wide initiatives and strategic planning related to curriculum development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational or training setting
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and curriculum development methodologies
• Knowledge of learning theories and best practices in adult education
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Proficient in using educational technology and software for curriculum development
• Experience in conducting needs assessments and analyzing data to inform curriculum design
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
