Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Education Specialist to join our team. As a Science Education Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing science education programs for students of all ages. You will work closely with our curriculum development team, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that our science education programs are engaging, effective, and aligned with current educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement science curriculum for students of all ages, from elementary to high school level
• Collaborate with curriculum development team to design and create engaging and interactive science lessons
• Conduct research to stay updated on current educational trends and standards in the field of science education
• Train and support teachers in implementing science curriculum and utilizing effective teaching strategies
• Create and maintain a variety of teaching materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on activities
• Assist in the development of assessment tools to evaluate student performance and curriculum effectiveness
• Collaborate with other education specialists to integrate science education with other subjects, such as math and technology
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge of best practices in science education
• Serve as a resource for teachers and students, providing support and guidance in science education topics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in science education, preferably in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of current educational standards and best practices in science education
• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
• Passion for science education and a desire to inspire students to learn and explore the world of science
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Willingness to adapt to changing educational needs and trends
• Proficient in using educational technology and software
• Valid teaching certification preferred
