Position: Snowflake Engineer
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snowflake Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Snowflake Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our Snowflake data warehouse. You will work closely with our data architects, analysts, and developers to design and optimize our data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Snowflake data warehouses
- Collaborate with data architects to define data models and schema structures
- Implement ETL processes and data pipelines
- Optimize data warehouse performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and maintain data quality assurance processes
- Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
- Create and maintain documentation for data warehouse processes and procedures
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and analytics
- Train and support team members on Snowflake and its capabilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL, and performance tuning
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Expertise in SQL and data manipulation
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
