Job Description: Genesis Polytechnic University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Affairs Director to join our dynamic team. As the Academic Affairs Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading all academic programs and initiatives within our institution. You will be responsible for ensuring the academic success and growth of our students and faculty, while also maintaining the highest standards of education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for academic programs and initiatives in line with the institution's mission and goals.
• Oversee the development and revision of curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of students and is in accordance with relevant accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with faculty and department heads to evaluate and improve teaching methods and curriculum.
• Monitor and analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop appropriate interventions.
• Act as a liaison between faculty, staff, and administration to address academic issues and concerns.
• Develop and manage academic budgets, including allocating resources for faculty development and student support services.
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in higher education to ensure our institution remains competitive and relevant.
• Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of faculty and staff in the academic affairs department.
• Coordinate and support accreditation processes and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students and promote diversity and inclusivity in all academic programs.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and accreditation processes.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and implementing academic programs and initiatives.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with current trends and developments in higher education.
• Experience managing budgets and resources.
• Passion for promoting diversity and inclusivity in the academic setting.
