Position: Ground Transportation Coordinator

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ground Transportation Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the logistical aspects of our ground transportation operations. You will work closely with our transportation partners, as well as our internal teams to ensure the smooth and timely movement of goods and people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule ground transportation for our company's goods and employees, including but not limited to, trucks, vans, shuttles, and car services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation partners, negotiating rates and ensuring optimal service levels.
• Monitor and track transportation schedules and routes to ensure on-time delivery and pick-up.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate transportation planning and execution.
• Manage and maintain transportation records and documentation, including invoices, contracts, and insurance information.
• Continuously evaluate and improve transportation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with the safety and compliance team to ensure all transportation regulations and safety standards are met.
• Resolve any transportation-related issues or delays in a timely and effective manner.
• Conduct regular audits of transportation operations to identify and address any potential issues or areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in transportation coordination or logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
