Job Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join our team. As the NOC Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our company's network infrastructure. This is a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network and providing efficient support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on networking equipment.
• Respond to network outages and work towards resolving them in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve network-related issues.
• Document network changes and maintain accurate records of network activities.
• Conduct regular network health checks and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide technical support to customers and assist with network-related inquiries.
• Proactively identify potential network vulnerabilities and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical network issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
