Job Overview: As a Service Mechanic at FixRight Repair, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. You will work closely with our team of experienced mechanics to diagnose and fix mechanical issues, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure that all vehicles are in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Repair or replace parts such as brakes, belts, and filters
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document any findings
• Communicate with customers to explain diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and attend training sessions as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in automotive repair or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and systems
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• ASE certification a plus
