About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Farm Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. You will work closely with our farm manager to ensure that our farming operations run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all farm operations, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, pest control, and equipment maintenance
• Create and maintain schedules for all farming activities, ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Supervise and train farm workers, providing guidance and support as needed
• Monitor crop progress and make recommendations for improvements or changes to farming methods
• Collaborate with the farm manager to plan and implement new farming initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of farming activities, including crop yields, expenses, and inventory
• Source and purchase farming equipment and supplies, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the farming process
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, implementing new techniques and technologies as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a farming or agriculture role
• Strong knowledge of farming techniques and equipment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and farming software
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
