Job Title: Data Architect
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, with the ability to design and implement efficient and scalable data solutions. The Data Architect will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our organization's data architecture, ensuring its alignment with business objectives and data governance policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our organization's data architecture roadmap, ensuring its alignment with business objectives and data governance policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data solutions that meet business needs.
- Design and implement data structures, data models, and data flows to support business processes and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data maps, and data lineage diagrams to document the organization's data landscape.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the organization's data architecture and data management capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity and quality by establishing and implementing data governance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and optimize data architecture performance to ensure data accessibility, availability, and security.
- Provide technical guidance and support to data analysts and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient data usage.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement data infrastructure and data management systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and apply them to enhance our organization's data capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and database design concepts.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of data governance principles and experience with data governance tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
