Position: Wood Product Manufacturing Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wood Product Manufacturing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process of our wood products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. You will be a key member of our management team and will play a crucial role in the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to meet production goals and objectives.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, including scheduling, production planning, and inventory management.
• Ensure that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers to consistently meet performance targets and maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to understand customer needs and ensure products meet market demands.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve processes and products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in wood product manufacturing.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a production team and meeting production targets.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry best practices.
• Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
