Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal structures, equipment, and components using various tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metalworking processes and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
• Measure, cut, and shape metal using various tools such as saws, drills, and grinders
• Weld, solder, and braze metal parts together using a variety of techniques
• Operate machinery including shears, presses, and bending machines to shape metal
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Repair damaged metal components by welding or replacing parts
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to standard
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication
• Knowledge of various metal types and their properties
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of metalworking tools and techniques
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform accurate calculations
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Must have own tools and welding equipment
