Position: Laundry Service Specialist

Overview: As a Laundry Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional laundry services to our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry items are cleaned, dried, and folded to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laundry facility and handling all customer inquiries and concerns. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established guidelines and procedures
• Inspect all items for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
• Operate commercial laundry equipment, such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines, to ensure maximum efficiency and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry facility by regularly cleaning machines, floors, and surfaces
• Monitor and replenish laundry supplies as needed
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all laundry orders are completed on time
• Keep accurate records of laundry inventory and customer orders
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline laundry processes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in a laundry or housekeeping role
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy laundry items
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
