Position: Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process of our pulp and paper manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in the industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production strategies to meet company goals and objectives
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the pulp and paper manufacturing process, including raw material sourcing, production, quality control, and distribution
• Monitor production performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials
• Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels to meet production demands
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Develop and manage department budget and track expenses
• Hire, train, and mentor production staff, providing ongoing performance evaluations and feedback
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation within the manufacturing process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in pulp and paper manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a management role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
• Proven experience in developing and implementing production strategies
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Willingness to travel as needed
