Job Title: Academic Program Director

Position Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Academic Program Director to join our team. The Academic Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our academic programs, ensuring they align with the institution's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, leadership skills, and a passion for creating innovative and impactful programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for academic programs in collaboration with the institution's leadership team.
• Oversee the development, review, and revision of curriculum to ensure it meets the highest academic standards and aligns with industry trends.
• Lead and manage all aspects of the academic programs, including faculty development, student success, and program evaluation.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality instruction and student learning outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze program data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance program effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure programs are relevant and meet the needs of the job market.
• Provide guidance and support to faculty in developing and implementing innovative teaching methods and utilizing technology in the classroom.
• Stay current with advancements in the field of education and incorporate best practices into program development and delivery.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively to support the growth and sustainability of academic programs.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development for faculty and staff.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in academic program development and management.
• Experience working in higher education and a strong understanding of accreditation standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successful program development and implementation.
• Familiarity with instructional design and curriculum development.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for education and a dedication to promoting student success and academic excellence.
