Job Title: Big Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Big Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Big Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our big data infrastructure to support our growing business needs. You will work closely with our data scientists and business analysts to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain our big data infrastructure using the latest technologies
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract data from various sources and load it into our data warehouse
• Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data requirements and design data models that support their analytical needs
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and consistency
• Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in big data engineering
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Hive
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with data modeling and ETL development
