Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best products are available for our customers
Conduct market research to identify new and trending products in the wine and spirits industry
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms for our company
Analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product selection and inventory levels
Create and manage budgets for purchasing wine and spirits products
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies and campaigns for wine and spirits products
Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to meet customer demand
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in the market to inform purchasing decisions
Attend industry events, trade shows, and tastings to stay informed on new products and suppliers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Wine & Spirits Buyer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge and understanding of the wine and spirits industry
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Passion for customer service and creating a positive shopping experience for customers
Willingness to travel for industry events and meetings
