Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis to understand the organization's wireless communication needs
Design and develop wireless communication systems based on business requirements
Evaluate and recommend appropriate wireless communication technologies, protocols, and equipment
Develop and maintain documentation for wireless systems, including network diagrams, configuration details, and user manuals
Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to wireless systems and provide timely resolutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless systems with other IT systems and applications
Conduct performance testing and optimization of wireless systems to ensure efficiency and reliability
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in wireless technology to continuously improve systems and processes
Train end-users on the proper use of wireless systems and provide technical support and guidance as needed
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures for wireless systems
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for wireless services and equipment
Participate in budget planning and provide cost estimates for wireless systems projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in designing and implementing wireless communication systems
Strong knowledge of wireless communication technologies, protocols, and standards, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G, etc.
Experience with wireless network design and management tools, such as Cisco Prime, Ekahau, etc.
Proficient in network security and authentication methods for wireless systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies
Certifications in wireless networking, such as CWNA, CCNA Wireless, etc., are a plus
