Job Title: Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Position Overview: As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse facility. You will work closely with warehouse staff, including warehouse associates and forklift operators, to ensure efficient and timely movement of goods and materials in and out of the warehouse. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products
• Supervise and train warehouse staff, including setting work schedules, assigning tasks, and providing feedback and coaching when necessary
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping of all warehouse transactions
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse employees
• Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
• Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues to the appropriate department
• Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise among warehouse staff
• Create and maintain reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, productivity, and safety compliance
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures and ensure all staff are up to date on safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse operations role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures, including inventory management and forklift operation
• Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting
