Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead adventure tours for clients, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience
Conduct pre-tour briefings and provide information about the tour, safety precautions, and equipment
Guide and assist clients during the tour, ensuring they follow safety regulations and have an enjoyable time
Share knowledge about the local area, culture, and history with clients
Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during the tour in a calm and professional manner
Maintain and inspect all equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations and guidelines
Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns or inquiries
Collaborate with other tour guides and team members to ensure a smooth and successful tour experience
Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the tour experience for clients

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Adventure Tour Guide or in a similar role
Extensive knowledge and experience in adventure activities, such as hiking, rock climbing, camping, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Physically fit and able to handle strenuous outdoor activities
First Aid and CPR certification preferred
Knowledge of local area and attractions
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in tourism or related field is a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
