Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement satellite systems and subsystems, including communication, power, thermal, and structural systems
Conduct system analysis and simulations to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
Develop and execute test plans to validate system requirements and functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate satellite systems with ground stations and other components
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to satellite systems, both on the ground and in orbit
Monitor and maintain the health and status of satellite systems, and implement corrective actions as needed
Analyze data from satellite systems to identify trends and make recommendations for system improvements
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in satellite technology, and incorporate them into system design and development
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for satellite systems
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing satellite systems
Strong knowledge of satellite subsystems, such as communication, power, and thermal systems
Proficiency in using design and analysis tools, such as MATLAB, Simulink, and STK
Experience with satellite testing and validation, including environmental testing and on-orbit testing
Familiarity with satellite communication protocols and standards, such as CCSDS and TCP/IP
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to travel as needed for satellite operations and testing
