Job Title: Philanthropy Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our team. As a Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to raise funds for our organization's philanthropic initiatives. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of fundraising, relationship building, and project management. The successful candidate will have a passion for philanthropy and the ability to inspire others to support our cause.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to raise funds for our organization's philanthropic initiatives.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential major donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
• Develop and maintain a donor database, including tracking donor interactions and managing donor communications.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective fundraising campaigns.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and other special events.
• Research and identify new sources of funding, including grants and sponsorships.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, volunteers, and community leaders.
• Act as a spokesperson for the organization, promoting our philanthropic initiatives and engaging with the community.
• Monitor and report on fundraising goals and progress, providing regular updates to senior management and the board of directors.
• Manage a team of fundraising professionals and provide training and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Nonprofit Management, Business, or Communications.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
• Strong understanding of fundraising best practices and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
• Experience managing a team and working collaboratively with others.
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of donor databases and fundraising software.
