Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a solid understanding of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the shipment of goods from suppliers to our warehouses and from warehouses to customers
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customer demand
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and delivery times
• Communicate with suppliers, warehouses, and customers to resolve any issues or delays in shipments
• Track and analyze transportation costs to identify opportunities for cost savings
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales and operations, to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and other logistics partners
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on logistics performance and any issues that may arise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with logistics software is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
