Job Title: Fleet Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our company's fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of our fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimize the use of company vehicles and resources
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and expenses
• Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement
• Create and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all vehicles
• Manage and coordinate vehicle purchasing and disposal processes
• Ensure all vehicles are properly licensed, registered, and insured
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures for safe driving and vehicle usage
• Oversee and train a team of fleet technicians and drivers
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers
• Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to reduce costs
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards
• Prepare and present reports on fleet performance and expenses to upper management
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in fleet management technology

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in fleet management
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficient in using fleet management software and tools
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to fleet operations
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
