Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum materials and programs to ensure the highest level of academic success for our students. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement curriculum materials for various subject areas and grade levels, aligned with state and national standards.
• Collaborate with teachers to provide support and guidance in the implementation of the curriculum, ensuring consistency and quality across all classrooms.
• Conduct regular evaluations of curriculum materials to identify areas for improvement and make necessary revisions.
• Stay current with best practices and trends in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and educational technology.
• Provide professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their knowledge and skills in curriculum implementation.
• Collaborate with other Curriculum Specialists to develop interdisciplinary and project-based learning opportunities for students.
• Analyze student data to identify areas of academic need and make recommendations for curriculum modifications or interventions.
• Work with administrators to ensure curriculum materials and programs meet the needs of diverse learners and are culturally responsive.
• Serve as a liaison between the school and external organizations, such as universities or educational agencies, to develop partnerships and access additional resources.
• Lead and facilitate curriculum meetings with teachers and other stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary improvements.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum database, including lesson plans, assessments, and resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in curriculum development.
• Strong understanding of state and national standards and their implementation in the classroom.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Proven experience in analyzing data and using it to inform curriculum decisions.
• Ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative curriculum materials and programs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in using educational technology and learning management systems.
