Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass and Ceramics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with glass and ceramics, as well as a passion for creating high-quality products. As a Glass and Ceramics Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the production and maintenance of glass and ceramic products. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical expertise and creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment used in the production of glass and ceramic products.
• Prepare materials and set up workstations for the production process.
• Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to create glass and ceramic products according to specific dimensions and designs.
• Monitor the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Inspect finished products for any defects and make necessary repairs.
• Mix and apply glazes, paints, and other coatings to glass and ceramic products.
• Assist in the development and testing of new glass and ceramic products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery or equipment.
• Keep track of inventory and order materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with glass and ceramics.
• Strong knowledge of different types of glass and ceramics and their properties.
• Proficient in using various tools and machinery related to glass and ceramics production.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
