Job Title: Craft Instructor

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Craft Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality craft classes to individuals of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various crafting techniques and a proven track record of engaging and inspiring students. As a Craft Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and creativity while fostering a love for crafting in others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create lesson plans and instructional materials for a variety of crafting classes, including but not limited to knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, and paper crafts.
• Deliver engaging and interactive classes to students of all ages and skill levels.
• Demonstrate various crafting techniques, provide individualized instruction and feedback, and encourage students to explore their own creativity.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring that all materials and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop new class ideas and improve existing programs.
• Stay up to date with current crafting trends and techniques to continuously enhance the class curriculum.
• Assist with the promotion and marketing of crafting classes through social media, community events, and other platforms.
• Manage class registration, attendance, and feedback from students to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring the well-being of students and staff at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Craft Instructor or in a similar teaching role.
• Extensive knowledge of various crafting techniques, tools, and materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles and abilities.
• Passion for crafting and a desire to share that passion with others.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate class schedules.
