Position: Machine Technician

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Technician to join our team. As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our company's machinery and equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to: CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and drilling machines.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Complete necessary repairs and replacements to ensure equipment is functioning at optimal levels.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime and maximizing production.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Keep inventory of spare parts and equipment and order replacements when necessary.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and new hires.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies to continuously improve our maintenance processes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, technical degree or certification in mechanical or industrial engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machine Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various types of machinery and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
