Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Education. This individual will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in the field of education, as well as providing guidance and mentorship to students. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in education, with a focus on curriculum development, pedagogy, and educational psychology.
• Conduct research in the field of education, with a particular emphasis on current trends and best practices.
• Publish scholarly articles in reputable journals and present research findings at conferences.
• Serve as an academic advisor and mentor to students, providing guidance and support in their academic and professional pursuits.
• Participate in curriculum development and assessment, ensuring that courses and programs meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the education department and other departments to develop interdisciplinary courses and initiatives.
• Engage in community outreach and service activities, promoting the importance of education and advocating for educational equity and social justice.
• Maintain a strong record of professional development, staying current with advancements in the field of education and implementing new teaching strategies and technologies.
• Serve on departmental and university committees, contributing to the overall growth and development of the institution.

Qualifications:

• A doctoral degree in education or a related field is required.
• Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is preferred.
• Strong research skills and a track record of publications in reputable journals.
• A deep understanding of current trends and best practices in education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and mentor students.
