Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
Conduct market research and analyze data to identify current trends and consumer preferences
Collaborate with the buying and marketing teams to select and procure products that meet customer demand
Create planograms and arrange products in an aesthetically pleasing manner to maximize sales
Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment and reordering
Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of products
Regularly review sales reports to track performance and make adjustments to merchandising plans as needed
Train and supervise store staff on proper product placement and merchandising techniques
Ensure that all products are properly labeled and priced according to company standards
Participate in product development meetings to provide input on new and existing products
Stay updated on industry and market trends to make proactive adjustments to merchandising strategies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product merchandising, preferably in the retail industry
Strong understanding of merchandising principles and techniques
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
Proficient in Microsoft Office and merchandising software
Creative and innovative mindset
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
