Position: Art Instructor

Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Art Instructor to join our team and inspire our students through creative expression. As an Art Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of art techniques, mediums, and styles to students of all ages and skill levels. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate art curriculum, including lesson plans, projects, and activities.
• Teach students a variety of art techniques, such as drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking, and mixed media.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students to explore their creativity and express themselves through art.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills and develop their artistic style.
• Plan and organize art exhibitions to showcase students' work and celebrate their achievements.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and programs.
• Keep up-to-date with current trends and techniques in the art world and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and organized studio space and ensure all art materials and supplies are stocked and in good condition.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching art to students of all ages and skill levels.
• Strong knowledge and skills in various art techniques and mediums.
• Passion for art and the ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt and modify teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
