Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our network is reliable, secure, and efficient. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in networking, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewall policies, access controls, and other security measures.
• Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement network policies and procedures.
• Work with vendors to evaluate, recommend, and implement new networking technologies.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
• Perform network upgrades and maintenance during scheduled maintenance windows.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in networking technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists.
• Solid understanding of network switches, routers, and other networking equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+ are preferred.
