Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement farm plans, including crop rotation, planting schedules, and animal management strategies
Monitor and maintain farm equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner
Manage and supervise farm staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
Oversee the daily operations of the farm, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and livestock care
Monitor crop and livestock health, and implement measures to prevent and control diseases and pests
Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including inventory, production, and financial data
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees
Implement sustainable farming practices and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and productivity
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders in the farming industry
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in farming techniques, and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies into our operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Farm Management, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a farm management role, with a proven track record of success
Strong knowledge of crop production, livestock care, and farm equipment
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
Proficient in record-keeping and data analysis
Familiarity with sustainable farming practices and experience implementing them
Ability to work long hours and handle physically demanding tasks, as needed
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an agricultural setting
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
