Position: GCP Data Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Data Engineer to join our growing team. As a GCP Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data solutions on GCP, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.
• Implement data engineering best practices and standards to ensure data quality, reliability, and security.
• Perform data modeling to support business analytics and reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in data pipelines and databases.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and tools and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers on best practices, coding standards, and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with at least 2 years of experience working with GCP.
• Strong experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and other scripting languages.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
