Job Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Computer Hardware Technician to join our team. As a Computer Hardware Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing computer hardware and peripherals for our organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and upgrade computer hardware and peripherals such as CPUs, RAM, hard drives, and printers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair hardware failures and replace faulty components.
• Keep accurate records of all hardware repairs and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement solutions for complex technical issues.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in computer hardware technology and provide suggestions for improvements to our systems.
• Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to explain technical issues in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
• Certification in computer hardware repair or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Computer Hardware Technician or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
