Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, with a focus on analytical techniques and methods. As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting research, performing experiments, and analyzing data to support the development and improvement of our products. You will work closely with our team of scientists and engineers to ensure the quality and safety of our products, as well as to drive innovation and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and tests using a variety of analytical techniques, such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy.
• Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for analysis, following established protocols and procedures.
• Collect and analyze data, interpret results, and prepare reports to communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with instrumentation and equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
• Develop and validate new analytical methods to improve the efficiency and accuracy of testing procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in analytical chemistry, and make recommendations for incorporating new techniques and technologies into our processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support product development, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to safe laboratory practices and protocols, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Analytical Chemist, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food industry.
• Extensive knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy.
• Strong understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with experience using software such as Empower, Chemstation, and MassHunter.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
