Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Event Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning and a proven track record of organizing successful events. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization to execution. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then collaborate with our team to create unique and memorable events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research to understand clients' event objectives, target audience, and budget
• Develop event concepts and themes that align with clients' goals and preferences
• Create event proposals, including budget estimates, timelines, and event details
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, transportation, catering, and audio-visual equipment
• Develop and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and providing regular updates to clients
• Coordinate with the marketing team to promote events and increase attendance
• Oversee event set-up, registration, and execution to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and handle any issues that may arise during the event
• Conduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for future events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience in managing and executing events of various scales
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail
