Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage community members, organizations, and businesses in our mission and programs.
Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including schools, local businesses, churches, and other non-profit organizations.
Identify and attend community events, conferences, and meetings to promote our organization and build brand awareness.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials, such as flyers, brochures, and social media posts.
Coordinate and lead volunteer recruitment efforts, including managing volunteer databases, conducting volunteer orientations, and organizing volunteer appreciation events.
Plan and execute community outreach events and initiatives, such as food drives, fundraising events, and educational workshops.
Conduct research and maintain knowledge of community needs and trends to inform our organization's programs and services.
Manage and maintain communication with community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure strong relationships and engagement.
Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify and secure funding opportunities from community partners and sponsors.
Monitor and report on the impact of community outreach efforts, including tracking metrics and providing regular progress reports to stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in community outreach and engagement to continually improve our strategies and approaches.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in community outreach, event planning, or volunteer management.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.
Proven experience in planning and executing community events and initiatives.
A passion for community service and making a positive impact in the community.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend events and meetings.
