Job Summary: As a Prepress Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of print-ready files for production. You will work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards and delivered on time. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of printing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze electronic files for accuracy and completeness before sending them to production
• Prepare files for printing by making necessary adjustments to colors, images, and layouts
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to file preparation and printing
• Communicate with clients to clarify design specifications and resolve any issues
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure efficient and effective workflow
• Maintain accurate and organized file management system
• Stay up-to-date with new printing technologies and techniques to continuously improve processes and results
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time
• Monitor and maintain equipment and software used in the prepress process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Prepress Technician or in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of printing processes, color management, and file preparation
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other prepress software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
